Paula's looking for work .. we've got something for her

UPDATE: We've hit our target - thank you!

We need your help to save the polar bear. Well, one polar bear in particular.

Greenpeace have the opportunity to buy an astonishingly realistic polar bear costume to use in our work to tackle the causes of climate change - and help us stop reckless oil companies from drilling in the pristine Arctic wilderness.

This magnificent bear really is something else, and was until recently treading the boards at the National Theatre in London, starring in Greenland, a play about climate change.

To buy this bear, we need to raise £4,000 - please donate whatever you can now to help us reach this total.

Now, £4,000 might sound like a lot for a costume, but this will add a powerful visual punch to our direct actions like nothing else. If you remember the orang-utans from our Nestlé campaign last year, you'll know what I mean!

And, the National Theatre is being extremely generous, with a hefty discount for this state-of-the-art outfit which we can't help calling Paula Bear.

Your donation will help us look after Paula and provide her with the necessary training to so she can assist in our cunning plans for the future (which of course are under wraps at the moment).

You'll have seen the climbers boarding an Arctic-bound oil rig in Turkey last week. That was just one part of our ongoing campaign to stop drilling for oil in the Arctic. Now we really need Paula to join us in our campaign to save her homeland!

Please give whatever you can so we can buy Paula the polar bear and train her into a kick-ass climate activist >>
